Crazy About Kids

Young Life thinks the world of kids. We believe that they deserve to know what life can hold for them. Young Life leaders are caring adults who come sharing that hope as well as fun and lasting friendships with kids. Young Life is also all about fun. From club and camp to Campaigners and other activities, teenagers will have blast laughing, trying new things and being with their friends.

The Role of a Young Life Leader

Leaders are committed to being involved with kids' lives -- from supporting them at their sporting events to listening to them talk about what's important to them. Our leaders help kids consider the direction of their lives, and they offer hope for their future.

In Honor of Jerry Kindall

Dear friends,

One of the true saints of our Young Life family has finished his race and gone home to be with the Lord.

Jerry Kindall was a patriarch of Tucson Young Life and had deep roots in this mission. He met Jesus through YL in high school, was a volunteer leader in Minnesota, and faithfully served on the Tucson Young Life committee for several decades. He was a tireless advocate for our ministry because he was passionate about kids knowing Christ. It is impossible to overstate Jerry’s impact - not just for Young Life in Tucson (or baseball at UofA), but for the Kingdom.

He was funny, charming, and incredibly kind; he made you feel like you were the most important person in the room. He was a loving husband and father. But more than anything, he deeply loved Jesus!

We are sad that Jerry is gone; he will be dearly missed. But Jerry had hope in Christ and now gets to see his Savior face-to-face, and for that we are grateful.
